Department of Microbiology

Microbiology is one of the most dynamic and rapidly advancing fields of science, contributing significantly to healthcare, agriculture, environmental sustainability, and biotechnology. The Department of Microbiology in our senior college is committed to providing quality education, fostering scientific curiosity, and developing research skills among students.

Our department focuses on building a strong foundation in microbial sciences through well-equipped laboratories, experienced faculty, and updated curricula. We encourage students to actively participate in practical learning, seminars, workshops, and research activities that enhance their analytical and critical thinking abilities.

With the growing importance of microbiology in areas such as disease control, food safety, environmental management, nanobiotechnology, bioinformatics,  industrial biotechnology and now AI in microbiology our aim is to prepare students to meet future scientific and societal challenges.
