| About the Department | The Department of Commerce was established in 2003, affiliated to University of Pune. It offers undergraduate programs in Commerce (B.Com.), Business Administration (B.B.A.) with intake of 240 & 80 respectively and post-graduate course in Commerce (M.Com.) with intake of 60 specializing in Advanced Accounting & Taxation. The course emphasizes management skills, teamwork, practical knowledge of Accounting, Taxation, Banking & Finance. Industrial visits are arranged to companies like VIP, BOSCH, DIRK, Coca-Cola, etc. |
| Faculty & Facilities | Well-qualified staff provide a supportive environment. The department has well-equipped classrooms and computer labs with internet & WI-FI. Staff and students actively participate in seminars, conferences, and workshops. |
| Achievements | Students have participated in national conferences and sports events, winning several medals. Examples include Ms. Kavita Patil & Ms. Priyanka Gite in Hand Ball at National level and Mast. Jayesh Fartale in Water Polo at National level. |
| Events & Programs | Annual “COMMERCE FORUM” includes guest lectures from experts in Commerce, Economics, and Management. The Commerce Festival “IMPETUS” in January features competitions like Poster & Paper presentations, Extempore, Ad-Mad show, Group Discussion, Quiz, Commerce exhibition, and “Master & Miss Manager.” |
